In 2008, Logicalis enhanced its
community-giving efforts by distributing a total of $25,000 in
December to 21 charities across the United States that were
selected by our employees. We followed that effort up in 2009 by
distributing another $25,000 to 30 charities. In 2010, the effort
grew even bigger to $35,000 and 35 charities. Then in 2011, we
contributed $55,000 to 61 charities.
This approach symbolically has brought us
together as a company, to give of our collective organizational
heart and provide monetary support to organizations that assist
people less fortunate than ourselves.
In December 2012, we continued the Logicalis
holiday charity donation program by again donating $55,000; except
this year, we allocated $30,000 of this total to the American Red
Cross for Hurricane Sandy needs. The other $25,000 is being
distributed to 49 other charities across the United States. All of
the 700+ US-based employees were engaged in nominating and then
voting for their favorite charities.
