Jeffrey J.
Teeter
VP, Vertical Solutions
Prior to the acquisition of Solution Technology, Inc. (STI) by
Logicalis, Mr. Teeter was Chief Operating Officer and one of the
founders of STI, where he had responsibility for the financial
aspect of the company. His leadership and vision were instrumental
in making STI one of the most successful technology companies in
the U.S.
Prior to forming STI, Mr. Teeter was with the IBM Corporation in
Indianapolis and various other locations for over 13 years. Mr.
Teeter began his career at IBM in 1984 as a Product Engineer in the
Development sector. In this position, he was directly involved in
reducing the manufacturing costs of both current and
developmental-stage IBM products.
In 1988, IBM began shifting many of their development organizations
into their Sales Division. Mr. Teeter made the transition
successfully and was promoted to the role of Sales Executive. His
territories included Indianapolis and Chicago. In 1989, his work in
these regions earned him IBM's Rookie of the Year Award for the
entire Midwest.
In 1990, Mr. Teeter assisted with the rollout of IBM's UNIX Server,
the RS/6000. Following his IBM certification in RS/6000 sales, he
became the lead product representative, and eventually, Sales
Manager for the entire product line in the state of Indiana. In
1997, Mr. Teeter left his role at IBM, and with their support,
formed a Business Partner relationship with them that is still
intact today. In his role as President, his main focus was to
ensure the continued growth of STI by providing best-of-breed,
total technology solutions to customers throughout the Midwest,
combined with the outstanding service, and one of the most
experienced staff of consultants and technology experts in the
U.S.
Mr. Teeter's personal philosophy on customer services is, "To
provide customers with an exceptional level of service, you must
surround yourself with exceptional individuals. You must empower
those individuals to make decisions, to be creative, and to go
beyond the expected in every area of the business."
Mr. Teeter holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue
University in Indiana. He, his wife, and two daughters currently
reside in Carmel, Indiana.
