International Solution Provider Expands Local Footprint,
Moves into New I-90 Location with Room for Growth
Bloomfield Hills, MI – January 26, 2010
– “We have a great new location along the I-90 corridor,
and an impressive new place in the Seattle area to hang our hats
every single workday,” explains Shaun Olsen, vice president,
consulting, for Logicalis, Inc.
Logicalis, an international solution provider with its U.S.
headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, also boasts a large
Seattle-area office location in Bellevue, Washington. The company’s
Bellevue location came into existence a decade ago through the
acquisition of another local company, Puget Sound Systems Group
(PSSG), in 2000. Today, Logicalis’ local division has just moved
into a new, nearly 7,000-sf office at 14725 SE 36th Street, Suite
420, in Bellevue. Soon, Logicalis’ company logo and signage will be
among other well-known corporations visible from I-90 in the
Eastgate area, including T-Mobile, Quadrant Homes, John L. Scott
Real Estate, Quantum, and Healthways.
“When a company of this size remains in the same area year after
year, through acquisitions and building changes, you know it’s
committed to the people that work here, the community it resides
in, and the local customers that it serves,” Olsen says. “At
Logicalis, we are proud to call Bellevue home.”
When Logicalis purchased PSSG, which had been a Seattle-area
employer since 1986, PSSG was focused solely on application
development and integration. This was the perfect complement to
Logicalis’ strong multi-national presence as an IT solution
provider. Today, Logicalis has offices across the U.S., UK,
Germany, Latin America and Asia Pacific and provides data center
services, managed services, unified communications solutions and
application services combined with products from Cisco, HP, IBM and
Microsoft.
“While application development is just one key area of focus for
Logicalis, it is the expertise of our valued employees in this area
that has served as a tie between Logicalis and the Seattle area. We
are proud of what we have accomplished here, and plan to stay and
grow in this area for a long time to come,” Olsen says, noting that
the company’s new lease includes accommodations for future
expansions as the company continues to hire and employ local
talent.
“At Logicalis, we never sit back and rest. We know that, for our
business to be competitive, we have to help our clients’ businesses
be competitive. We are continually working, investing, and
upgrading our own best practices so that we can help our clients do
the same,” Olsen says. “In some instances, that means upgrading our
technology and infrastructure. In other instances, it means
upgrading our physical location.”
