Provide TPC Standard Edition QuickStart via TPC for Data
Implementation.
Phase I: Planning
- Verify specifications for supported server hardware, microcode
and network requirements.
- Map which server(s) will host TPC/CIMOMs.
- Identify which servers will act as TPC for data clients.
- Identify whether there is a fit for TPC for disk and/or fabric
modules.
Phase II: Execution
- Verify servers meets software requirements.
- Verify the operating system is clean of any prior software
installations.
- Add TPC user to the operating system and grant security
permissions.
- Install TPC for data software components.
- Apply any required software patches.
- Confirm TPC for data installation.
- Install CIMOMs on customer-provided servers (up to two).
- Install TPC for data client on servers (up to three).
- Illustrate canned and custom reporting features and skills
transfer.
