As a Cloud Solution Consultant, Matthew Buono (“Matt”) uses his deep technical expertise coupled with his understanding of business processes to deliver tactical assessments and strategic recommendations that help Logicalis clients develop advanced cloud strategies. His uncanny ability to marry business and technology in truly meaningful ways gives him a unique perspective that clients love. In addition to his consultative role, Matt is also a key part of the team that designs, architects, and delivers technology solutions in support of Logicalis/MCPc reference architectures.
Matt came to Logicalis in 2015 through Logicalis’ acquisition of MCPc’s Advanced Technology Integration Group (ATIG). Having worked at MCPc, a highly respected Midwest-focused solution provider, since 2007, Matt held a variety of highly technical and consultative positions.
As a Virtualization Architect at MCPc, Matt divided his time between presales consultations and delivery of complex virtualization solutions. Here, he honed his expertise in working with VMware, NetApp, Dell, HP and Citrix solutions, and was considered the resident guru when it came to writing internal delivery guides and presentation materials for the engineering department, skills he learned earlier as an Engineer at MCPc focused on data center, storage and server virtualization.
Before joining MCPc, Matt worked as the Director of IT Support for The McGuire Group, a medical and rehabilitation facility in Buffalo, New York. In this position, Matt and his team of three support engineers managed the facility’s server and data center environment.
