As the GovEd Practice Leader for Logicalis US, Adam is responsible for defining Logicalis’ go-to-market strategy in four key areas: K12 Education, Higher Education, Local Government and State Government. By collaborating with internal project management teams, he is helping shape the GovEd solutions and services Logicalis brings to market. In addition to developing and overseeing the execution of the practice’s business plan, Adam also enables the team’s salespeople to deeply and effectively engage with public sector clients; works directly with clients on GovEd contracts, policies and programs such as E-Rate and bond/grant programs; and manages business-critical GovEd vendor relationships.
With over two decades of experience in IT and a particular affinity for the GovEd sector, Adam comes to Logicalis from Dimension Data where he most recently served as the Area Vice President, US Public Sector. Among other GovEd sales and marketing positions, Adam also spent six years working as the General Manager at Network Infrastructure Corp. (NIC), a Cisco Gold Partner that provided network consulting and IT services to the K12 education, state and local government, gaming and hospitality markets, before it was acquired by Logicalis in 2010.
Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, as well as numerous certifications, including Cisco, EMC, NetApp and VMware. He has also written a book, “Evolutionary Selling,” available on Amazon.com, which examines a new approach to sales that links human evolution to the “why” behind people’s purchasing decisions.
Adam and his wife and two sons live in Los Angeles. Adam is a sci-fi enthusiast, so when he’s not working or spending time with his family, he is deeply entrenched in building a life-size, fully functional R2D2 droid.
