Wendy McQuiston

Microsoft Professional Services Director

Wendy McQuiston is Microsoft Professional Services Director for Logicalis, a role she has held since June 2016. In this role, Wendy is responsible for the end delivery of the Microsoft solutions that Logicalis implements for its customers. It is her job to ensure that Logicalis has the right tools, the right people with the right skills and the right solution to meet every customer’s specific needs. Wendy is also responsible for managing the Gold partner relationship with Microsoft and helping to drive the Microsoft practice as it expands from the data center and desktop to the cloud.  

To help in her role, Wendy draws on her experience from two complementary careers: She has a Master of Science degree in Information Technology and almost 20 years of experience with infrastructure solutions across the Microsoft stack. And, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music where she spent several years in music education. Wendy’s leadership style draws on this experience with the goal of delivering all solutions with excellence.  She has held numerous OEM technical engineering and instructor certifications throughout her IT career including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.  

Wendy began her IT career as a technology instructor where her teaching experience included corporate, private, and academic instruction. Prior to joining Logicalis as Professional Services Manager in 2014, Wendy was Practice Manager for Coretek Services, Director of Network and Voice Infrastructure for Siemens Enterprise Communications, and Department Chair of Computer Networking at Baker College. During her tenure at Baker College, she authored two titles for Microsoft in the Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum series that were widely used for instruction in academic institutions.    

Wendy earned her Master of Science Degree in Information Technology from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn. and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Oakland University in Rochester Mich. She and her husband now live in Clarkston, Mich. and they have four young adult children. She and her family enjoy getting away to their cottage in northern Michigan and vacationing in warmer climates in the winter. Wendy is also active in her church playing piano.
