Logicalis’ Renae Johnson Named to CRN’s Women of the Channel Power 50 Solution Providers List

Solution Provider Recognized for Communication and Collaboration Exec’s Impact on IT Channel, Industry

NEW YORK, June 17, 2014 – Logicalis US, an international IT solutions and managed services provider (www.us.logicalis.com), today announced that Renae Johnson, Logicalis’ Vice President of Cisco Solutions, has been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list and has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers. The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel.  The Power 50 honors an elite subset of female executives at solution provider organizations who are extending their respective companies’ sphere of influence as trusted advisors.

“We are seeing a steady increase in the number of female executives making their mark in the solution provider community,” says Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “The new Power 50 list shines a spotlight on both their contributions as individuals and the importance of the solution provider role in the success of their clients.  We congratulate the Women of the Channel and look forward to their continued success.”

While still in her first year at Logicalis, Johnson has successfully expanded her role from Cisco channel solutions advocate to managing the executive relationship between Logicalis and Cisco, one of Logicalis’ largest global partners.  In her first six months with Logicalis, Johnson visited 80 percent of Logicalis’ offices nationwide, meeting with sales and technical teams to understand their needs as well as the needs of Logicalis’ end-user customers in the Cisco space.

“It is a genuinely exciting time to be in the channel, both as a woman in a rapidly changing business world and as someone charged with managing the U.S. relationship between Logicalis, one of the largest technology companies in the world, and Cisco, one of our largest channel partners,” Johnson says. “The relationships between vendor and channel are at their most dynamic during times of great change, and with cloud, SDN, and the next wave of services transforming the way customers perceive and consume technology, I couldn’t have joined Logicalis at a more exciting and important time. My job is to build relationships and trust at all levels within our two organizations, and I am extremely proud to have been recognized by CRN for the impact I am having on the channel and the role I play in helping Logicalis and Cisco work together to create winning solutions and strategies our customers can depend on.”

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN magazine and online at www.crn.com.
