Brian Day

VP Platform Strategy & Services

Brian Day is the VP Platform Strategy & Services at Logicalis US.  In this role, he is responsible for developing Logicalis’ services strategy, including defining and managing the lifecycle of Logicalis’ professional, cloud and managed services. An experienced technologist, Brian is equally comfortable talking to CXOs, line-of-business executives and the media.

Prior to joining Logicalis in 2001, Brian started a Web-services architecture company which helped power data exchange between organizations like T-Mobile and He worked in Accenture's Center for Strategic Technology leading development and bringing new technologies to business, and was a part of Netscape's website management team introducing JavaScript and multimedia development to the world. He also started a web development company which created one of the first personalized websites for Sierra Online. Prior to working on the web, Brian served as a design software developer for Boeing and McDonnell Douglas.

Brian holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University. He lives with his wife and three boys in the Chicago area. Besides coaching his sons’ various sports teams and writing software in his spare time, Brian is active in digital music and has been the lead singer and lead guitarist of a punk rock band that performed in the Northwest. On the low-tech side, Brian keeps a 1968 BMW 1600 in a constant state of restoration.
