Laura Vaupel

Business Development Manager - Global Sales

As the Business Development Manager - Global Sales, Laura skillfully articulates Logicalis’ worldwide solutions and services capabilities both directly to customers and through country-specific marketing materials. She also coordinates RFPs between Logicalis US and its global counterparts, identifies areas of potential strategic growth, and reviews and communicates international processes and procedures to Logicalis’ global sales organization. As part of the team focused on providing customers with a seamless global sales and services experience, Laura’s aptitude for international business proved instrumental in Logicalis’ achievement of the Cisco Global Gold certification, a stringent partner certification that acknowledges a solution provider’s expertise across all regions and geographies, authenticating the solution provider’s ability to plan, design, implement and operate Cisco solutions without borders.

Having joined Logicalis in 2001 as a domestic sales executive, Laura has held a number of other vital roles throughout her lengthy tenure with the organization.  With nearly a decade as a forecast analyst, Laura accurately evaluated and projected national sales for the organization, providing dependable pipeline forecasts and actionable field sales support based on her findings. Laura has also held other strategic roles at Logicalis, including acting as a large accounts operations manager and director of sales enablement.  Prior to joining Logicalis, Laura worked in purchasing and supply chain management for Quaker Oats and was a channel sales executive and implementation manager for the food and consumer products vertical at QAD, an ERP software firm.

Keenly aware of the need for women mentors in the technology industry, Laura was a founding board member of the Women of Logicalis (WOL), a group designed to empower women by providing professional development, leadership and support through networking.  The organization has also sponsored events to support girls in technology.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and computers from Indiana State University.  She lives in Fountain Hills, Arizona, with her two teenage children and two cats.  An avid fitness enthusiast, Laura spends her early mornings at the gym and trains other women weekly. She enjoys summers in Indiana on the family farm, reading a good book, and spending time with her children.
