Renae Johnson

National Cisco Alliance Senior Director

As the National Cisco Alliance Senior Director, Renae Johnson is responsible for managing one of Logicalis’ largest vendor partner relationships. Since joining Logicalis in 2014, Renae has been tasked with growing Logicalis’ Cisco solutions, software and services on a national basis. Additionally. Renae holds responsibility for collaborating with Logicalis’ LATAM and European country leaders to increase global Cisco sales opportunities. By 2017, Renae’s involvement in this Cisco Global Commerce initiative proved instrumental in Logicalis’ achievement of the Cisco Global Gold certification, a stringent partner certification that acknowledges a solution provider’s expertise across all regions and geographies, authenticating the solution provider’s ability to plan, design, implement and operate Cisco solutions without borders.

It’s no surprise that Renae has excelled in her position as a liaison between Logicalis, Cisco and their mutual customers. Before joining Logicalis, Renae spent nearly nine years as a Cisco Channel Partner Account Manager developing and delivering the channel strategies that drove Cisco and its partners’ revenue growth, profitability and customer satisfaction from the mid-market to the enterprise.

Renae began her career in the technology industry in enterprise sales with AT&T, transitioning to increasingly responsible positions over a nearly 11-year timespan with Lucent Technologies, Expanets and Avaya through a series of mergers and acquisitions. During this time, Renae also developed a passion for mentoring young professionals, developing a program with Northwestern Michigan College in which she offered leadership and guidance to as many as six interns per semester.

After being named to CRN’sWomen of the Channel as well as being recognized on the inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers list, Renae expanded her love of mentoring by co-founding the Women of Logicalis (WOL) to help empower women by providing professional development, leadership and support through networking.  The organization has also sponsored events to support Girls in Technology.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Renae holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and is still an avid Spartan fan. Renae currently lives in Traverse City, Mich., and has two children in college. Fueled by her passion for all-things-outdoors, Renae climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2013. An adventurer at heart, Renae also enjoys photography and spending time in her 100-acre cabin in the woods.
