Matt Previts Honored for Professional Success and Civic Contributions
NEW YORK, November 22, 2016 – Logicalis US, an international IT solutions and managed services provider (www.us.logicalis.com), announced today that Matt Previts, a Logicalis Cleveland-area Account Executive, has been named to the Cleveland Crain’s “Forty Under 40” list. Previts’ inclusion in this prestigious list was celebrated at an awards reception last night at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.
Now in its 25th year, the Crain’s Forty Under 40 program has honored over 900 individuals for their professional success and substantial civic contributions. This distinguished group plays a critical role in Northeast Ohio’s business development vision as it competes on the world stage.
Previts joined Logicalis US earlier this year as part of the company’s 2015 acquisition of MCPc’s Advanced Technology Integration Group where he had served as Data Center Services Director and Higher Education Vertical Manager for nearly five years. As an account executive for Logicalis, Previts’ primary responsibility is to ensure the organization is providing world-class service to its clients in the education, government and private sectors, a role he serves with pride and determination. He is also a special duty information professional and intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has just returned from a two-month active duty assignment. Before joining MCPc, Previts worked as the Director of Information Systems at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland where he also coached varsity rowing.
When he’s not at work or serving in the U.S. military, Previts is co-chair of the Cleveland Business Leaders (CBL) Committee at the Union Club of Cleveland, and he sits on the boards of The Foundry, a high-performance rowing and sailing training center for Cleveland student athletes; the YMCA of Greater Cleveland; and the Northern Ohio USO.
“We are exceptionally proud of the work Matt has done for Logicalis’ clients as well as the way he has given back to both the Cleveland community and to our nation,” says Michael Montisano, Regional Vice President of Sales, East, Logicalis US. “At Logicalis, we look for people like Matt who embrace challenge, work with an unstoppable drive and appreciate the gifts life has given them. Matt is this kind of person and we congratulate him as he is honored for his service to our organization and clients as well as to the greater Cleveland-Columbus community.”
“Looking at the caliber of the other recipients that have received this designation is a humbling experience, and I am honored to stand among them. Each of us is trying to be the best versions of ourselves in our chosen fields while contributing in a meaningful way to the city we love,” Previts says. “I’m in a unique and wonderful position to work for a company like Logicalis that fully supports me in these endeavors. At Logicalis, there’s a corporate culture that fosters a tremendous work ethic and civic responsibility in its employees and provides a strong community of people that truly believe in a work-life balance that allows us to become the best people we can be.”
